The Cathcart Spring Proms for 2009 show cancelled due to economic downturn

The Cathcart Spring Proms production scheduled to take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 2 June 2009 has been cancelled. Regrettably the promoters of the 2009 Cathcart Spring Proms, European Events, have fallen victim to the current economic downturn and this year’s production will not take place.

Despite record levels of interest from the public the 2009 show it will not go ahead as planned. The Producer and Director of the show, Christopher Palmer-Jeffery, is devastated by this news and said:

“So many people have worked so hard each year to bring this much loved, sought after and unique show to a loyal following, many of whom return each year.  Thank you all for your support over the years and my sincere apologies that we will not be sharing the Cathcart dream again this year.”

Tickets for this event will be refunded in full by the Royal Albert Hall by the method used to purchase the tickets.  This includes any bookings made for parking at Imperial College.
